So 2012 is already rocking with new creative ideas and experiences for Morrismore.
“What’s next?” You're saying. Well., We are so glad you asked!

Now is the time for Morrismore to expand and sign some amazing local male models.

We are looking for a mixture of tattooed, unique, interesting models with great personalities.
We give preference to those with experience and a portfolio, if you don't have any, drop us a line anyway. The main thing is that you will mesh well with our current female models, so have a look at our site and send us a message; we will let you know if you have what it takes to be a Morrismore Male model!

What an amazing night we had at Perch on Friday the 6th of May!
The MM Models 1st year anniversary was a total success and fun night with beautiful girls, great bands and great friends!

Instead of planning a super stressful fashion show, or wild crazy event, we thought we'd celebrate what matters most to us...our AMAZING models.
We ate we drank, we Perched at one of our Favourite now hangouts, The Perch at the Corner of Powell and Commercial.

TASS Fashion Show

On Sunday, August 22nd, Morrismore Productions was featured as a proud sponsor of the Flaming Angels Designs portion of the TASS (Teacher and Student Show) Gala held at the Roundhouse in Yaletown.

Four of our lovely models as well as two makeup/hair artists from Nightshade Beauty participated in this event. Wearing custom, one of a kind, designs by Flaming Angels owner Miriam Melanson, the Morrismore models rocked the runway with big hair, dark glossy eyes, and even a set of deer horns in homage to Alexander McQueen (the inspiration for the show).

With a store and life motto of “Deviate from the Mundane”, Flaming Angels is best known as a mecca of the Vancouver Alternative, Lolita and Goth scenes in Vancouver, with original designs and one of a kind styling. In addition to running her own store and independent label, Miriam, is currently an instructor at VCAD (Vancouver College of At and Design) and, like Morrismore, encourages independence in her students and collaborators.
Morrismore is proud to welcome Miriam and Flaming Angels to the Morrismore family as an official sponsor!!

Vancouver Zombie Walk August 21, 2010

Every Year we as Morrismore Productions have wanted to take part in the Vancouver Zombie walk, and every year we have ended up missing it, (insert various excuses here).
This year we were prepared, and in true MM style went all out.

The loose concept was simple, Kat and I dressed as Zombie hunters who had tamed and tied to leashes a group of hungry, moaning, flesh eating Zombie Models!!!

It was a beautiful sunny August day and all the freaks were out in full force.
We all met at a studio close to the starting point to get prepped and ready, the latex, fake blood and gore was flying and before we knew it we had a sizable pack of flesh eating zombies salivating with expectation of the coming meal of regular folks.
And trust us, there was no shortage of mouth breathers in attendance, and I don’t mean the Zombies, I have never seen the streets lined with so many confused spectators with the WTF look on their collective faces in my life. There was even someone honking and yelling out the window at us to get off the road!! The only response to his infuriated expletives was a very loud “MOAN” from the shambling masses!
Sooo much fun! Enough talking!

West Coast Tattoo and Culture Convention

On Saturday the 10th of July Morrismore sent a handfull of our beautiful ladies to the "West Coast Tattoo and Culture Convention " in Langley City, handing out promo and schmoozing with the vendors. In attendance were the amazing Luna Love, Tanya, Erynn, Aisling Grace and Lil Vegas.
Three of these lovely ladies also competed in the Pin-up contest (Luna, Lil Vegas and Aisling) and in true MM fashion two of them placed in the competition!!
Congrats to Aisling Grace for winning "Best Hair"
And a BIG congrats goes to Lil Vegas for winning 1st place "Top Pin up over all!!"

It was so great to see you ladies out and about promoing you little butts off and letting everyone know that Alt Models are here to stay!!

Morrismore Productions is excited to announce the total launch of Morrismore Models!!!

Thank you to everyone involved for making the Launch of Western Canada's only Alternative Modeling Agency such a huge success!
The Media Club was simply packed to the gills with the most enthusiastic crowd we have ever seen at a live music/fashion show.
All 30 of the Girls were wearing sexy corsets from Doll Pretty, and beautiful Jewellery from Spark Design.
Entertainment was provided by 3 rockin musical acts, Kristen Karma, Kill Matilda and Ready, Set, Die! Who kept the room moving and gave our girls kickass tunes to strut their stuff to!

Local media was also in attendance and have written scene articles highlighting our lovely ladies.

There is a brand new vision to Morrismore these days.
To capture not only the next step in the evolution but to look beyond that, cause that's where everyone else is already looking.
To find the subculture to the sub culture and see where it takes me.I don't simply want to do what everyone else is doing.
I need to step out into the creative side of the the production world, to not simply throw a Hawaiian party with a DJ , Djembe player and a contortionist but to do something that makes people think.
Makes people move.
Creates inspiration to all involved as well as those simply watching.
To bring out the gore and beauty of it all.
To bring out the ugly and the beautiful.
To break it all down.I'm so tired,So bored of all the mediocraty.
Its time for a change.
Time to grow.
Time to inspire.
It's time to show that More is More!
